Ingredients:
1 lb of strip steak
2 oz of bell pepper slices
3 oz of spinach leaves
2 tbsp of olive oil
1/2 tsp of salt
2 tsp of minced garlic
2 tsp of minced ginger
2 tsp of minced onions
2 tsp of sesame oil
3 tbsp of light soy sauce
1 tsp of rice vinegar
1/2 cup of diet coke
Scallions for garnishing
Needed:
Instructions
Preheat a skillet to a medium-high heat, add one tbsp of olive oil
Season the steak and sear it from both sides until golden crispy
Transfer steak to a plate and let it rest in a warm place
For teriyaki combine soy sauce, coke, sesame oil, vinegar, garlic, onions and ginger
Reheat the same skillet to a medium-high add remaining olive oil
Add bell peppers and spinach and panfry vegetables for 2-3 minutes
Add teriyaki mix and sliced steak, simmer for 2 minutes to incorporate flavors
Garnish with sliced scallions
