Slowcooker Uzbek Style Beef Stew

Ingredients:
2 lb of beef for stew
12 oz of savoy cabbage
2 tomatoes
2 oz of carrots
5 oz of onions
3 garlic cloves
3 tbsp of butter
1 tsp of cumin seeds
1 tsp of ground black pepper
1 tbsp of salt
3 tbsp of Olive oil
1 cup of water or stock
Cilantro for garnishing
Needed:
Instructions
In a skillet add oil and butter and sear beef from all sides to a golden brown
Transfer the meat to a deep pan and season with salt and pepper
Add sliced onions and garlic cloves in the same skillet and sweat in the same fat
Transfer onions mixture to the meat and season with cumin
Add a layer of sliced carrots, water and season with salt to taste
Seal and slow cook for 3 h 30 minutes at 205 F
Add a layer of sliced cabbage and tomatoes, season and cook for another 1 hour
