Instructions

  • Add salt and pepper to the tuna steak, make sure you season properly then place the tuna in a shallow dish.
  • Using a small mixing bowl, add in the soy sauce and sesame oil and mix properly to combine.
  • Pour the mixture into the dish containing the tuna steak, stir to coat, then marinade for about 12 minutes.
  • Place a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and let it heat up.
  • Once the skillet is hot, add in the marinated tuna steaks and cook for about 3 minutes until it sears beneath.
  • Flip the tuna over and cook for an additional 2 - 3 minutes until it is completely cooked.
  • Place the cooked tuna steaks on a clean working surface the slices into desired shapes and serve with sesame seeds as garnish.
