3 tbsp. melted butter or coconut oil, for brushing
Needed:
Instructions
Begin by preheating the oven at 350°F or 175°C.
Add all the dry ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and mix them well. Follow up by pouring in the eggs and evenly mixing the ingredients.
In order to thicken the dough, gradually add boiling water into the bowl and then shape it into a ball using your hands.
Take a greased baking sheet and oiled parchment paper. Place the dough in between them so that it doesn’t stick when spreading. Either by the use of a rolling pin or your hands spread the dough to the size of a 16-inch round.
Remember that once baked the dough will rise to 2-3 times of its unbaked size. Keeping that in mind roll the thickness of your dough to 1/3 of your desired crust size.
Take the crust out of the oven after baking for 25 minutes and brush it with either coconut oil or butter. Flip the crust over and put it back in the oven for broiling for 3-8 minutes. Once the bottom is crisp, flip the crust again to broil the top now. Make sure to keep an eye on the crust while broiling so that it doesn’t burn.
After cooling the crust you can either freeze it or use it then by adding toppings of your choice and broiling again for 5-10 minutes until the cheese melts, bubbles, and browns.
