Place a medium saucepan over medium-low heat then add in the green tomate Verde, garlic clove, 1/3 of the white onion, chili and enough clean water that covers the ingredients then boil.
Decrease the heat to low and simmer for about 6 - 7 minutes.
Next, drain out the liquid content of the salsa ingredients and place in a food processor or a high-speed blender.
Also add in other ingredients like the raw onion, fresh cilantro, avocado and 1/2 tsp of salt to taste then blend until the mixture become smooth.
You can either serve with your favorite meal or keep fresh in the refrigerator for three days.
