Begin by peeling a ripe avocado, as it will be provide a smooth mixture. Take a bowl and mix the avocado with vanilla extract and blend it thoroughly using an immersion blender. Add lime zest and salt into the mix.
Using a hot-water bath or microwave melt your dark chocolate and add coconut oil in it too. That’ll keep the texture of the chocolate smooth.
Take the chocolate and pour it into the avocado. After mixing them, refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes. Wait until the batter has a firm, but not solid consistency.
Using the palm of your hands to roll the mixture into small truffle balls before dunking them in cocoa powder. You can also make truffle balls using a small scoop or two teaspoons without getting your hands dirty.
